Fabulous, fall-blooming, California fuchsia, a hummingbird's delight when the coral-apricot flowers (really, salmon) appear in late summer, lasting well into autumn. Though most are winter dormant, this form is evergreen, forming a small shrub, to 1-2 ft tall x 1-2 ft wide. Sun to part shade in any soil that drains reasonably well. Drought tolerant but accepts happily accepts summer water and, perhaps, looks a bit more lush. Frost hardy in USDA zone 8.
