*RETAIL - Philodendron x joepii

This odd creature is thought to be a naturally occurring hybrid between P. bipennifolium x P. pedatum, hailing from tropical French Guiana. Once exceedingly rare, now becoming more accessible in cultivation. Leaves of a ridiculous shape that seem almost as if they have had big symmetrical bites taken out of them, becoming more exaggerated as the plant matures. A climber, so provide a moss pole, if you please. Rich, moist soil, but should be allowed to mostly dry out between waterings. Fertilize frequently. Indirect light. USDA zone 10 - a houseplant in our neck of the woods.
