Most often a species of the immediate coast, this inland habitat receives much more heat and cold than the norm. To about 10 feet with dense pyramidal form. 1 inch rounded glossy green leaves and densely held clusters of sky blue flowers mid spring, often repeated throughout the year. Bright light, at least decent drainage, summer dry. USDA zone 7 possibly lower.
