From meadow edge, in diverse Lake County, CA, this, propagated from a very old specimen of roughly 12' x 12' with cheerful blue-green leaves, and lightest pink flowers occurring mid-December through January. Most surprising, it sat in a spot of periodic winter inundation. This should be a very low-cootie edition to the garden manzanita world.  Full sun to dappled shade, careful with the summer water.  USDA zone 7.
